Our people
& culture
At Design Group UK, we are one team, creating a workplace that is open and honest, where everyone feels respected, valued, heard, and contributes to our success.
Our culture is the engine that drives us forward, and we believe it is essential to our ongoing success in building a successful future.
A winning culture
At the heart of our business is a culture that we are immensely proud of — one that fuels our success, drives innovation, and makes us who we are. Our culture is not just a set of values on paper; it’s a shared belief system that shapes how we work, connect, and grow together.

A people-first environment
We are committed to creating an environment where every voice is valued and heard, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose. We believe that when people feel respected, empowered, and supported, they bring their best selves to work, and that energy inspires remarkable results.
Our Values

Our culture
We focus on nurturing strong leadership, open communication, and a collaborative environment that welcomes diverse perspectives. Through these efforts, we want to ensure that every team member feels connected to our vision and motivated to make an impact.
Our culture is the backbone of our employee experience, guiding our approach to development, recognition, and growth. We invest in our people’s success, providing opportunities for learning and advancement, rewarding positive impact, and celebrating contributions. We foster an environment where feedback is encouraged, enabling continuous improvement and empowering each of us to reach our full potential.
Health and safety
At Design Group, the health, safety, and well-being of our employees are integral to everything we do. Ensuring a safe workplace is a fundamental part of our daily operations.
Our approach to health and safety begins with fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement. We take proactive steps to ensure that every individual understands their role in maintaining a safe environment. Through comprehensive training programmes, clear communication, and accessible resources, we enable our team to identify risks, suggest improvements and collaborate to build a safer workplace.
While we operate within the scope of the HSE guidelines, our commitment goes beyond meeting legal requirements and, we are actively preparing to achieve ISO 45001 certification in 2025. From regular safety audits to ongoing education, we are dedicated to staying ahead of potential risks and creating a workplace that prioritises prevention. Our processes are regularly reviewed and adapted to evolving risks. We have invested in a system that allows us to manage risks, incidents and agreed actions.
We understand that health and safety extends beyond physical security—it includes mental well-being, work-life balance, and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
We are passionate about fostering a culture where mental health, physical wellbeing, and a strong sense of community are built into our operations. We approach safety in a holistic manner – from workplace design, initiatives promoting mental health awareness (including dedicated mental health first aiders) and policies supporting a work-life balance.
We do not compromise when it comes to health and safety. Our decisions, policies and actions are guided by this principle. We believe that everyone has the right to return home safely at the end of their working day.
